New court documents provide more details about the death of Orange County Lt. Ellie Shea

New court documents provide more details about the death of Orange County Deputy Ellie Shea.

Investigators say her husband, Anthony Shea, shot her in their bedroom and then used her phone and their children to create an alibi.

Anthony Shea was a deputy himself until earlier this year.

Documents show that Anthony Shea’s ex-wife, who went by the name Nancy Shea, begged a judge to get away from her former high school sweetheart.

Nancy Shea filed documents addressing the violence in her home.

Nancy wrote in the court filing in 2012 asking for protection.

She further alleged that Anthony threatened that “ten men would rape her.”

She said they first met as young children and eventually were married for 17 or 18 years and had five children together.

She said one of the things that drove their marriage apart was when Anthony and Ellie started working together and dating.

In addition to what she said, there were also anger issues.

A week ago, officers said Anthony killed Ellie who had called unemployed.

He then sent himself a text from her phone asking her to take their children and leave the house to give her space.

He somehow turned on the phone’s microphone, where he said one of their daughters, Ellie, was asleep, according to a report.

After taking the children to Publix, he returned home and called 911, claiming that Ellie had committed suicide.
