TRENTON, NJ – Vice President Kamala Harris won New Jersey in the 2024 election, CBS News projects.
Democratic Rep. Andy Kim also defeated Republican businessman Curtis Bashaw in the closely watched race to replace New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, who resigned after convicted on corruption charges.
In the US House races, perhaps the most watched contest in New Jersey takes place between Representative Thomas Kean, Jr. (R) who defeated Susan Altman (D) in the 7th District.
In the presidential race, New Jersey has voted for the Democratic candidate in every election since 1992.
