New riverwalk route postponed due to former Detroit Conservancy CFO woes – CBS Detroit
The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy said Friday that the temporary trail that would have connected the eastern and western portions of the existing trail will be postponed until next year. It is the latest in a saga that began with the discovery that former CFO William Smith allegedly stole more than $44 million from the nonprofit over 12 years.
