Other divisions: AFC East | AFC South | AFC West | NFC East | NFC North | NFC South | NFC West
File: 6-2 (first in AFC North)
Top fantasy artist: RB Najee Harris, 94.40 points (in place of Justin Fields, who was on the bench)
MVP: LB TJ Watt
Most important match second half: November 17 vs. Ravens
What a job by Mike Tomlin, right down to the QB switch from Justin Fields to Russell Wilson. It was expected that the Steelers might have a losing season. Instead, they are contenders to win the division. However, there is a very tough post-bye schedule, including two games against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
File: 6-3 (second in AFC North)
Top fantasy artist: QB Lamar Jackson, 227.66 points
MVP: Jackson
Most important match second half: December 21 vs. Steelers
Lamar Jackson may be the league’s MVP, so he should be the Ravens’ MVP, but Derrick Henry has a case. His greatness has transformed the Ravens’ offense and should make Baltimore more dangerous in the postseason. The offense has been great, although the Ravens have had some strange losses and the pass defense needs improvement (see the late collapse against Jameis Winston and the Browns and Gardner Minshew II and Raiders).
File: 4-5 (third in AFC North)
Top fantasy artist: QB Joe Burrow, 181.46 points
MVP: WR Ja’Marr Chase
Most important match second half: December 1 vs. Steelers
The season started with a terrible home loss to the Patriots, and that put the Bengals in a hole. There isn’t one quality win on the Bengals’ resume. But the Bengals are hovering around .500, and with Joe Burrow becoming increasingly popular, a wild card berth is still possible.
File: 2-7 (fourth in AFC North)
Top fantasy artist: WR Jerry Jeudy, 66.30 points (in place of Deshaun Watson, who is out for the season)
MVP: DE Myles Garrett
Most important match second half: Nov. 21 vs. Steelers
The Browns started 1-6, stubbornly clinging to Deshaun Watson and his terrible play. Jameis Winston had one good game, but it ended in a loss to the Chargers. This might be the most disappointing team in the NFL.
