There are more than a dozen 2024 NFL preseason games today, including the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the Buffalo Bills. The two teams last met in January during the NFL’s Wild-Card Playoff, which the Bills won. The Steelers vs. Bills exhibition game will be played on the Steelers’ home field of Heinz Field – sorry, make that Acrisure Stadium. (Old habits die hard, even two years after the stadium’s name change.) The game kicks off Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on NFL Network. Here’s all the information you need to know about tonight’s game, plus the dates and times for preseason games from all 32 NFL teams and how to watch the entire NFL preseason.

Date: Saturday August 17, 2024

Time: 7:00pm ET/4:00pm PT

Game: Steelers vs Bills

TV channel: NFL Network

Streaming: Fubo, DirecTV and more

The 2024 NFL preseason began on Thursday, August 8, and games will run through Sunday, August 25.

The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Buffalo Bills at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 17, airing live at 7:00 p.m. ET on NFL Network. The game will also be broadcast on local networks in select Pittsburgh markets (KDKA (CBS/2 – Pittsburgh) and Buffalo (WIVB, CBS/4 – Buffalo). Don’t have easy access to NFL Network? Here’s what we recommend:

(Fubo)

Fubo TV gives you access to ESPN, NFL Network, Fox, ABC, CBS, and 100+ other live channels. At $80/month, the live TV streaming service is definitely a great investment for football fans. But it offers nearly every channel you need to watch the NFL preseason and regular season, and you’re still saving a lot compared to a traditional cable package. Fubo subscribers also get 1,000 hours of cloud DVR storage. The platform also offers a free trial, so you can watch some preseason games risk-free.

A basic $6.99-per-month (or $40-per-year) subscription to NFL+ gets you live out-of-market preseason games on supported devices, live local and primetime regular season and postseason games on your phone or tablet, and live audio for every game of the season on supported devices. NFL+ Premium is a bit more expensive at $14.99-per-month (or $80-per-year) and also includes access to NFL Network and NFL RedZone, plus full and condensed replays of every game on supported devices. NFL+ also offers a seven-day free trial.

Many NFL preseason games are broadcast on local channels, so if you want to watch a game in your own market, it may be as simple as turning on your TV (or installing a digital TV antenna). If you want to watch games outside your market, a $7/month subscription to NFL+ gets you access to NFL Network, which will have all the preseason games outside your market. The downside to NFL+? When it comes to the regular season, it’s a much less useful option since there are far fewer NFL Network games during the regular season. In that case, we recommend watching both the 2024 NFL preseason AND regular season.
