The NFL season is almost here, but first we have the 2024 NFL preseason to wrap up. The preseason continues this Thursday with the final preseason game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears, airing at 8:20 p.m. ET on NFL Network. Bears QB Caleb Williams will sit out this game, but it will be the Chiefs’ final preview before they begin their bid for a three-peat this season. Ready to tune in? Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s NFL preseason game: Bears vs. Chiefs. Plus, the dates and times for the rest of the preseason games, and how to watch the entire NFL preseason.

Date: Thursday, August 22, 2024

Time: 8:20pm ET/5:20pm PT

Game: Chicago Bears at Kansas City Chiefs

TV channel: NFL Network

Streaming: NFL+, Fubo, DirecTV and more

The Chiefs host the Bears on Thursday, August 22, airing on NFL Network and streaming on NFL+. Don’t have cable? Here’s what we recommend watching live:

(Fubo)

Fubo TV gives you access to ESPN, NFL Network, Fox, ABC, CBS, and 100+ other live channels. At $80/month, the live TV streaming service is definitely a great investment for football fans. But it offers nearly every channel you need to watch the NFL preseason and regular season, and you’re still saving a lot compared to a traditional cable package. Fubo subscribers also get 1,000 hours of cloud DVR storage. The platform also offers a free trial, so you can watch some preseason games risk-free.

A basic $6.99-per-month (or $40-per-year) subscription to NFL+ gets you live out-of-market preseason games on supported devices, live local and primetime regular season and postseason games on your phone or tablet, and live audio for every game of the season on supported devices. NFL+ Premium is a bit more expensive at $14.99-per-month (or $80-per-year) and also includes access to NFL Network and NFL RedZone, plus full and condensed replays of every game on supported devices. NFL+ also offers a seven-day free trial.

Many NFL preseason games are broadcast on local channels, so if you want to watch a game in your own market, it may be as simple as turning on your TV (or installing a digital TV antenna). If you want to watch games outside your market, a $7/month subscription to NFL+ gets you access to NFL Network, which will have all the preseason games outside your market. The downside to NFL+? When it comes to the regular season, it’s a much less useful option since there are far fewer NFL Network games during the regular season. In that case, we recommend watching both the 2024 NFL preseason AND regular season.
