The NFC North takes center stage in the NFL world in Week 9 as the Detroit Lions head to Green Bay to take on the Packers. The winner takes the lead in the division, and in Detroit’s case, they will move up with a virtual two-game lead in the division if they win the first game. The Lions have reeled off five straight wins and lit up the scoreboard with more than 40 points three times in their last three games, highlighted by a 52-14 drubbing of the Tennessee Titans last Sunday.
The Packers are also hot, having won four straight games, but there were questions at quarterback heading into matchup week. Jordan Love sat out last week’s win over Jacksonville with a groin injury, but returned to practice on Thursday. He was cleared to play Sunday, so Malik Willis will once again be his backup.
