Nick Castellanos’ walk-off hit propels Philadelphia Phillies past New York Mets in Game 2 of NLDS

Nick Castellanos hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Philadelphia Phillies past the New York Mets 7-6 on Sunday night at Citizens Bank Park in Game 2 of the NLDS.

The series is now tied at 1-1 with Game 3 on Tuesday at Citi Field in New York.

Bryce Harper and Castellanos each hit home runs in the win. Bryson Stott had a two-RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth.

Cristopher Sanchez threw five innings for the Phillies and pitched well despite a two-run homer by Mets third baseman Mark Vientos. Sanchez struckout five batters and allowed five hits.
