Northern Ohio museums, zoos offering free admission to the military on Veterans Day

If you are a veteran or military member, numerous facilities in northern Ohio offer free admission in honor of Veterans Day.

The Akron Zoo offers free admission to all veterans and members of the military with a valid ID.

Other family members receive a half discount on regular admission.

The zoo is open Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo also offers free admission to military and veterans on Sundays.

And on Tuesday, the day after Veterans Day, Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens are free to veterans and military personnel.

Stan Hywet is closed on Mondays.

A valid ID is required for the free ticket.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton will offer free admission to veterans and one guest on Monday.

A veterans exhibition can also be seen in the hall and museum from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Valid active duty or veteran military ID is required.

The Cleveland Museum of Illusions is offering free admission Monday to all veterans and active military personnel with valid ID.

And the Greater Cleveland Aquarium is offering free admission and parking to all veterans, active military and first responders this weekend and on Monday.
