Reliance Industries and other major Indian companies will get artificial intelligence (AI) processors from Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA). At the event in Mumbai, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced the partnership and discussed the supply of Blackwell processors for a one-gigawatt data center that Reliance is developing in Gujarat. For other data centers, Nvidia will also supply Hopper AI chips to Tata Communications and Yotta Data Services.
Highlighting India’s potential in AI, Huang said, “India is likely to be the country that will export AI in the future. You have a large number of users and the basic elements: artificial intelligence, data and infrastructure. their influence in India is Nvidia’s alliances with Tech Mahindra, which is using their Hindi-language AI model to build Indus 2.0, a new AI platform.
Other companies using Nvidia technology to train and deploy artificial intelligence solutions include Wipro (NYSE:WIT) and Infosys (NYSE:INFY). These alliances fit into Nvidia’s larger plan to deepen relations with India as the country is positioned as a global center for AI growth.
