NYPD responds to shots fired at Brooklyn subway station

NEW YORK — New York City police are on the scene after shots were fired at a Brooklyn subway station.

According to police, the shooting was reported around 3:20 p.m. at the Sutter Avenue police station in Brownsville.

Four people, including two police officers, were hospitalized, according to the FDNY.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and L trains are temporarily running around the station.
