Oakland police said they are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Sunday afternoon.
A shooting was reported in the 2400 block of 106th Avenue around 12:30 p.m.
Police said they learned the shooting was a drive-by and that the victim was also in a car. The victim had left the scene and crashed not long after in the 10600 block of MacArthur Boulevard.
According to the police, it was a single-vehicle accident.
When police arrived on the scene, both the suspect and the victim had already left.
