Officers are investigating the vehicle that crashed on the Diamond Bar roadway with the gunshot victim inside

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a car that crashed on the side of the road near Brea Canyon and Pathfinder Roads in Diamond Bar, with a person inside suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers responded to the scene around 6 a.m. of a solo car crash and found at least one person in the car suffering from gunshot wounds. One ambulance has already left, another is still on site.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department describes the suspect as a man who fled in a white SUV.

A portion of Pathfinder Road over Highway 57 is closed as the investigation continues.
