One person is dead and another person was seriously injured after a shooting Sunday evening near N. Davison Street in east Charlotte, according to MEDIC.
MEDIC confirmed the shooting just after 8:30 PM Sunday near N. Davidson and Anderson streets.
Channel 9 saw multiple officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department go to the scene after the shooting was reported.
It is not yet clear whether the police are looking for a suspect. The shooting victims were not immediately identified.
CMPD has not yet released any additional details.
