CICERO, Ill. (CBS) — One person was killed and three others were injured after a shooting in Cicero, Illinois, on Sunday afternoon.
The shooting happened just before 12:30 p.m. in the area of Roosevelt and Cicero.
It is not clear what led to the shooting. The ages and genders of the victims have not been released.
The intersection is closed for investigation.
This is the second shooting in Cicero this weekend.
A police officer was shot outside Nikki’s Pub and Gaming just before 1 a.m. Saturday near 35th Street and 61st Court, prompting heavy police and helicopter responses.
The officer was last listed in serious condition at Loyola Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
