One person was killed early Wednesday morning in a wrong-way driving crash on Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga.
A two-car crash occurred just after midnight, involving a Tesla sedan in a head-on collision with a Toyota Avalon sedan.
Authorities said one person died at the scene and another person was taken to a hospital.
The eastbound lanes of Foothill Boulevard, just before Haven Avenue, were closed during the morning commute while the investigation was ongoing.
It is unclear whether the deceased person was the driver who caused the accident. It is also unknown how the survivor is doing and whether there were passengers in both cars.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
