Overturned cement truck causes traffic disruption on Highway 710 in Lynwood

An overturned cement truck caused a massive traffic jam in the northbound lanes of the 710 Freeway in Lynwood on Saturday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 4:15 p.m. near the Imperial Highway ramps.

More than 10 gallons of spilled cement covered the freeway’s lanes, prompting an hours-long SigAlert for all but one northbound lane.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

All lanes have now reopened.
