Middlesex fast bowler Blake Cullen has extended his contract until the end of 2026.

The 22-year-old, who has come through the club’s academy, has played 32 matches and taken 48 wickets.

The former England Under-19 player has also spent time with London Spirit in The Hundred.

“He is one of the most exciting fast bowlers in the game at the moment,” Middlesex director of cricket Alan Coleman told the club website.

“From an early age, Blake has had the ability to bowl fast, and his game developed on a steep upward curve until injury hampered his progress over the past few seasons.

“He has worked incredibly hard to get back to full fitness and now that he is back and firing on all cylinders, we are really looking forward to seeing what he can deliver in the coming seasons.

“With real pace, the ability to move the ball in both directions, a wicket-short ball and a good head on his shoulders, Blake can be a threat to any opposition batsman, and we are very excited to see how his game continues to develop. .”
