Montgomery County is closing a portion of Yankee Street just south of Mad River Road for construction, according to a social media post.
The road closure takes effect today and is expected to reopen on Wednesday, June 12.
According to the municipality, the work has been delayed, but will take place this week.
The road crew will carry out a culvert replacement.
The municipality has indicated on its Facebook page that the road is completely closed and that diversion signs will be placed.
