German airport operator Fraport Group reported on Thursday that passenger traffic at Frankfurt Airport increased slightly in November compared to last year.
The total number of passengers at all airports actively managed by Fraport has also increased.
In November, approximately 4.6 million passengers traveled via Frankfurt, a growth of 1% compared to the previous year.
Compared to pre-coronavirus levels, passenger traffic at Germany’s largest airport was still around 8.4 percent below the November 2019 figure.
Cargo throughput in Frankfurt grew by 2.4% year-on-year this month to 178,355 tonnes. On the other hand, the number of aircraft movements fell by 1.4% to 34,828 take-offs and landings.
The total maximum take-off weight or MTOW decreased by 0.6% to approximately 2.2 million tons.
Total passenger numbers at all airports actively managed by Fraport increased 4.2% year-on-year to approximately 10.4 million in November.
