A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Phelan Thursday evening, officials said.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the collision was first reported just before 10:40 p.m. at Johnson and Coyote roads.
The vehicle involved remained at the scene, the logs show.
Because the investigation is still in its early stages, no further details are known.
