A pedestrian was killed by a hit driver in Arleta on Wednesday.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash happened in the 14000 block of W. Terra Bella Street around 8:20 p.m.
Officers arrived on the scene and found the victim, whose identity has not yet been determined, on the street.
Los Angeles Police Department investigators say the crash is being investigated as a hit-and-run after the driver fled the area.
No suspect or vehicle has yet been involved in the collision.
No further information was provided.
