BLAINE, Minnesota. — A 27-year-old Princeton man has died after being struck by an SUV early Saturday morning in Blaine.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened around 5:46 a.m. on University Avenue/Highway 47, near 85th Street.
The victim was walking in the southbound lanes of the freeway when he was struck. The driver, a 32-year-old man from Anoka, was not injured.
According to state police, alcohol was not a factor in the fatal crash. The victim’s name will be released at a later date.
