Pennsylvania lawmakers, judges and Governor Shapiro will start 2025 with a pay raise

More than 1,300 Pennsylvania officials — including Gov. Josh Shapiro, all 253 lawmakers and all seven state Supreme Court justices — will get a 3.4% pay raise in 2025, under a state law that provides automatic raises that match with the federal consumer inflation rate for mid-Atlantic urban areas.
