NEW YORK — A man in Pennsylvania is being questioned in connection with the murder from UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City, police sources told CBS News New York.
A source close to the investigation said a person of interest was questioned about the killing after Pennsylvania authorities took him into custody over an unrelated incident in Altoona.
The person questioned was in possession of a pistol with a silencer and a fake New Jersey driver’s license, sources said.
This weekend, NYPD continued to search Central Park for clues, especially the weapon used shooting Thompson outside the Hilton Midtown hotel on December 4.
