A Pennsylvania teen is helping his neighbors get back into the holiday spirit with extreme decorations.
Joe Veneziale stunned CBS News Philadelphia viewers for the first time with his film spooky Halloween decorations at his home in Coatesville, Chester County. Now the 15-year-old is back with a spectacular holiday show.
“You’re looking at 184 items on the front lawn, and I don’t have an actual light count, but I would say over 10,000 lights and you’re looking at 132 of those vintage plastic blow molds,” Joe said. “They have been collected over the years from the internet, Facebook, flea markets and antique stores and everywhere to create the perfect Christmas experience.”
Joe’s vintage display takes up his entire front yard. The theme continues in his home, with more than 40 Santa Claus dolls and dozens of nutcrackers.
At the center of the exhibit is Joe’s generous heart. With help from the community, he will donate items to the Chester County Food Bank.
“We were able to collect 264 material items and $1,680 in cash donations, all of which will go to underprivileged families in Chester County,” Joe said. “It’s very local and we can help people within our community who can’t afford food this holiday season.”
Joe drops off stuff on December 22nd.
