Petco stops selling rabbits in its stores

The company is returning to an adoption-only policy. Petco recently completed a pilot program in which fewer than 50 rabbits were sold at certain locations. Animal welfare groups criticize the sale of rabbits because buyers do not realize the money and time it takes to care for them.
