A plane crashed in the Midlands area of ​​South Carolina on Sunday, according to the Saluda County Sheriff’s Office.

Both occupants of the two-passenger plane were taken by helicopter to a hospital, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. No further information on their conditions was available.

A spokesperson for the Saluda County coroner told the state their office has not been asked to respond to the crash site or hospital.
