Los Angeles Police Department officers are investigating a man found dead in the lake near MacArthur Park on Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a call for a man in the lake at 8:20 a.m. During the investigation, police discovered surveillance footage of two men pushing the body into the lake. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim is in his 40s and is believed to be homeless, according to the LAPD.
