Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a gunman in the deadly shooting in Long Beach

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the gunman involved in a fatal shooting in Long Beach on Tuesday.

According to Long Beach police, it happened in the 900 block of Via Carmelitos, the Carmelitos neighborhood, around 1:15 p.m.

Officers arrived on scene and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 32-year-old Dwayne Walton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have not yet announced any arrests and have no information available on a suspect involved in the shooting. They also had no details about a motive.
