PORTSMOUTH – Police have identified a man found dead in a dumpster on Pepperwood Court last week.
A body was found Nov. 18 after firefighters were called to the Bethel Worship Center in the Churchland area for a fire, according to a search warrant affidavit filed Tuesday in Portsmouth Circuit Court. The person had been shot in the head, back, thigh and foot, the affidavit said.
The person was later identified as 45-year-old Kurtis Lee Watson, according to a news release.
