Police investigating gunman on Glendale metro bus

The intersection of Los Feliz Boulevard and San Fernando Road in Glendale was closed Monday morning after police and sheriff’s officials received a report of a man with a gun on a Metro bus.

The bus has been evacuated and is parked on the side of the road. Glendale police and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office are on scene as the situation continues at 11:40 a.m.

With a heavy law enforcement presence, a man exited the bus at approximately 11:46 a.m. and surrendered. It is unknown at this time if he had a weapon.
