October 18 – ARREST

A Falls man was arrested Friday at 2 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road. The 54-year-old man was charged with petit larceny. He is accused of taking more than $34 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

THEFT

Officers are investigating a car burglary in the 1100 block of 11th Street. A female victim told police that sometime between midnight and Wednesday afternoon, someone broke into her 2006 Chrysler 300 by breaking the passenger side window. The victim said the vehicle’s radio was taken.

BURGLARY

Police are investigating a burglary in the 1800 block of North Avenue. A male victim told officers that sometime between 9:52 a.m. and 11:34 p.m. Friday, someone entered his apartment by breaking the front door. The victim said a PlayStation 5 system was taken from the apartment.

THEFT

Officers are investigating a car burglary in the 9000 block of Zito Drive. A male victim told police that sometime between midnight and 7:20 a.m. Sunday, someone broke into his 2014 Hyundai Elanta by breaking the rear passenger window. According to the victim, a mobile phone and some money were taken from the car.
