October 19 – ARREST

A Falls man was arrested after police say he fought with an officer after refusing to move his vehicle that was blocking an alley in the 2700 block of Pine Avenue at 4:58 p.m. Thursday. The 57-year-old man was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.

THEFT

Officers are investigating a theft from a store in the 8100 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. A clerk told police that a male suspect reached into his cash register and stole a $20 bill during a dispute over change. Police say the incident was captured on video by the store’s security cameras.

BURGLARY

Police are investigating a burglary in the 700 block of 20th Street. A female victim told officers that sometime between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday, someone entered her home by breaking an exterior door. The victim said food, clothing, a minibike, a PlayStation5 gaming system, an Oculus VR headset and an iPhone were taken from the home.

ARREST

A Falls man was arrested at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road. The 23-year-old man was charged with petit larceny. He is accused of consuming food in the shoe department of the store and not paying for it.
