August 29 – THEFT
Officers are investigating a vehicle break-in in the 1500 block of 98th Street. A male victim told police that sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, someone broke into his 2013 Nissan Maxima through unknown means. The victim said two pairs of sunglasses were stolen from the vehicle.
ARREST
A Falls man was arrested after police said probation officers found him in possession of firearms during a home visit in the 1300 block of Niagara Street at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday. The 59-year-old man was charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police said a Panther Arms AR-15 rifle was found in his apartment.
