Polling places in the province have seen long lines, but their location has not deterred voters from casting their ballots.

“Go out and cast your vote. Express your point, even if it takes two or three hours, you will feel good about it because you participated in our process,” said Dunel Casely, an early voter in Orange County.

Polls across Central Florida were closed Sunday for early voting, and nearly 2 million people in each county cast ballots in person or by mail.

Orange County Supervisor of Elections Glen Gilzean said early voting for the 2024 election became a convenient option ahead of Election Day.

The polling stations are open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Gilzean said as long as you are in line by 7 p.m., you will not be excluded from casting your vote.
