You probably don’t remember who won the first Pop-Tarts Bowl last year (Kansas State over NC State), but you probably remember the game’s mascot sacrificing himself by jumping into a giant toaster and killing Wildcats players ate it.
It was an absurd and momentous moment in college football history.
How will this season’s Pop-Tarts Bowl top last year’s spectacle? What about adding two more Pop-Tarts mascots and rewarding the game’s MVP by letting them decide which flavor the winning team gets to consume?

“Pop-Tarts will continue to challenge the rituals of college football, and with all eyes on us at this year’s game, we promise to triple the Crazy Good antics on and off the field with even more part-worthy, show-stopping, I-can’ “I believe they did that, moments for fans to participate in the kickoff,” Pop-Tart’s senior marketing director Heidi Ray said in a statement.
Frosted Strawberry gave his life to the players and coaches of K-State last year. The options this year include frozen hot fudge sundae, frozen wild berries and a mystery flavour, with the winning choice rising to ‘heaven in the mouth’.
Peanut Butter, Vanilla Milkshake, Blue Raspberry, Cinnamon Roll, Red Velvet Cupcake, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Grape are the discontinued options for the mystery flavor that will be back on sale later.
The game and second Pop-Tarts offering will take place on December 28 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando between teams from the ACC and Big 12 Conferences.
