(CBS DETROIT) – There is a slight risk of severe storms in Lenawee and Monroe counties, and the southern parts of Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
A marginal risk is a level 1 of 5 on the risk scale, but it is a lower threat. However, all the severe dangers are on the table on Tuesday, with the possibility of heavy rain, flooding, cloud-to-ground lightning, and hail. We also can’t rule out a spin-up tornado.
Anywhere north of the I-94 corridor, there is still a chance of storms; however, the risk is lower. Everyone should make sure they are prepared for the weather and have a way to receive weather alerts.
Expect cloudy skies this afternoon and evening, with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Especially with a new wave rolling in after 3:00 PM. High temperatures today will top out in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Lows will drop into the 50s to near 60 degrees.
