Princess Anne, the 73-year-old sister of King Charles III, returned home on Friday morning after spending five nights in hospital with minor injuries and A concussion.
Anna was injured on Sunday while walking on her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, England. Her medical team said her injuries were consistent with a blow to the head from a horse’s leg or head, but details of the incident were not clear.
She has returned to her Gatcombe Park estate and is expected to spend time recovering and undergoing standard concussion protocols, Britain’s Press Association news agency reported. She will resume public duties as soon as her medical team say it is safe for her to do so.
Anne’s injuries came as King Charles and Catherine, de Princess of Walesare both undergoing treatment for cancer. The king has resumed his public appearances after a period of absence, but Princess Kate, as she is often called, has largely stayed out of the public eye.
