Publix and Walmart in Miami sold $132,000 worth of Florida Lottery jackpot winners

The lone winner of the Florida lottery jackpot on Sunday came from a Walmart gas station in Miami-Dade, the day after a ticket purchased at a Publix elsewhere in the region split Saturday night’s jackpot drawing.

A Fantasy 5 ticket with the numbers 8, 22, 23, 29 and 33 purchased at the Murphy USA station at 5851 NW 177th St. Walmart won the $100,880 jackpot Sunday night.

No one won the Powerball, Florida Lotto, Cash 4 Life or Fantasy 5 afternoon drawing jackpots on Saturday, but four tickets split the Fantasy 5 evening drawing. A ticket sold at the West Miami Publix, 1500 NW 57th Ave., with 5, 11, 16, 21 and 34 was worth $32,125.

These tickets must be redeemed at a Florida Lottery District Office. Offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Miami-Dade District Office is located at 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes and can be reached at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080. Appointments may be made, but are not required.
