Queen Anne resident is injured after fighting off a coyote that attacks her dog

A woman is recovering from a bite while trying to save a dog from a coyote attack in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood.

On Friday, Seattle police responded to a call about a woman injured while fighting off a coyote that was attacking her dog.

According to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, the woman saw a coyote with her dog in its mouth.

While the woman tried to fight off the coyote and save her dog, she was bitten on one of her arms and her head.

The Fish and Wildlife officers began searching for the coyote but had no success.

No information is available on the condition of the owner and her dog.
