Quiet weekend with coastal showers, wet weather expected midweek

The end of the weekend was quite calm, with only a few showers.

Tonight and early in the morning there will be some coastal showers possible, with morning lows around 25 degrees.

More dry air moves in to start the work week.

Expect only a few showers in the region, with it remaining mostly dry. Highs on Monday will be around 32 degrees Celsius.

The chance of rain remains small on Tuesday, but that will change midweek.

Deep tropical moisture, brought by a developing system in the Gulf, will bring a much greater chance of showers and storms to the area by the end of the week.

Temperatures during the working week will be between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius.
