According to the National Weather Service, rain chances remain low in Central Florida on Friday as hazardous surf conditions hit the East Coast.
Highs in the mid-80s and overnight lows in the upper 60s are forecast for the region as a surface boundary moves over the eastern United States and high pressure over the western Atlantic flattens offshore, forecasters said.
This means that some wind conditions will return over the weekend and some low humidity will bring showers near the coast, but isolated showers may move inland.
Rain chances increase Saturday as a weak reverse trough moves across the Florida peninsula, forecasters say, but only 10-20% inland and 30% on the coast from Melbourne south.
The onshore swell means a high risk of life-threatening currents and rough surf on all Central Florida beaches.
