Rain, snow mix ends, dry remainder of Thanksgiving; very cold this weekend

The region will see colder temperatures after a mix of rain and snow moves through.

Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Austin Chaney has the latest timing on how long these frigid temperatures will remain in the area tonight on News Center 7 at 6:00.

The rest of our Thanksgiving will be cloudy and cold with highs in the low 40s.

This weekend will be colder as highs will be in the low 30s on Friday and Saturday.

A few wind chills are possible on Saturday morning. Chaney said we could also see some snow showers south of Dayton on Saturday evening.

Highs will reach the upper 20s on Sunday, with no warm-up in sight to start the new work week.
