New York Rangers superstar goaltender Igor Shesterkin tried to score a goal against the San Jose Sharks but was stopped by superstar rookie Macklin Celebrini.
Shesterkin made fun of Celebrini for being the youngest player in the NHL at 18, saying he should “be in school.”
Forgot to post this recently – Igor Shesterkin came close to a goalkeeper goal against SJ, but his attempt was denied by 2024 No. 1 pick Macklin Celebrini.
Shesterkin asked Saturday if he saw that it was Celebrini who stopped him.

Shesterkin has attempted to score a goal during his NHL career but has yet to achieve the feat.
