The spring camp season ended in early June and then Rivals Five Star event was the focus for the top prospects in the country. College camps, the Elite 11 Finals and the Future 50 camp also provided great settings for talented players to be evaluated. The results from each event have given the national analyst team plenty to think about, and the next rankings updates are still over a month away.
There will be a number of other locations in July for the best candidates to showcase their talents, but these are the biggest ranking questions from the busy month of June.

WHO IS NO. 1 IN 2025?
The battle for the number 1 position in the 2025 Rivals250 has never been more exciting. Julius Lewiscurrently the highest ranked prospect, and five-star Tavien St. Clair have put themselves through every possible major test this off-season and have passed with flying colours. Five stars Bryce Underwood worked out at LSU‘s camp and competed in a local 7-on-7 tournament with his high school team last month, looking more impressive than ever in every setting.
Five stars David SandersNo. 2 in the Rivals250, along with Dakorien Moore, Devin Sanchez, Justus Terry And Elia Griffin I didn’t compete in any major events in June and hardly attended any training camps during the entire off-season.
Is there a four-star who could potentially challenge for the number 1 overall? The only one who fits that description at the moment is Keelon RussellThe performances of the Alabama Last month’s commit has him in the five-star rankings and possibly in the discussion for #1 in the Rivals250.

HAS THE DEBATE OVER THE NO. 1 RB BEEN SETTLED AMONG THE RIVAL FIVE-STARS?
For the Rivals Five Star event in Jacksonville, we were still wondering if the debate over the nation’s top-ranked running back would be arranged. The picture became somewhat clearer.
Five stars Harlem berries entered the event as the No. 1 running back in the Rivals250 and went on to win the Fastest Man competition and the Running Back MVP award. Five-star Jordon Davison played very well in Jacksonville, especially when working against blitzing linebackers. He also impressed in one-on-one battles, showing off his improving receiving skills.
There are others who contend for the title of best running back, but Berry and Davison still stand out just a little bit above the rest.

HOW MANY NEW FIVE STARS WILL COME OUT OF THE NEXT REFRESH?
We have already mentioned that Alabama is committed to Keelon Russell will be in the five-star discussion, but there are plenty of others in the 2025 and 2026 classes who qualify for a fifth star. Russell will be in the five-star quarterback debate. Tramell Jones, Deuce Knight and quarterback of 2026 Faizon Brandon.
Playmaking receivers Jaime Frans And Vernell Brown did nothing to slow down the talk of becoming five-star stars. Running back Savion Hiter is the No. 1 running back in the 2026 class and certainly didn’t hurt himself with his performance on the Future 50. There have only been 12 five-star tight ends in the history of the Rivals rankings, but the exceptional dual-sport standout Kendre’Harrison will be discussed 13th.
There are four names that stand out as possible five-star candidates. Ziyare Addison, Michael Carroll, Avery Gach and 2026 striking Kevin Brown have played their way into the conversation. On the defensive line, Isaiah Gibson And Nathaniel Marshall will remain central to the Five Star debate.
The five-star linebacker has become a rarer prospect in recent years, but Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng And Riley Pettijohn have put together a strong case so far. Their most recent performances in Jacksonville could have pushed them over the top.
There are many defenders and athletes who qualify for a five-star rating. Hylton Stubbs, Chuck McDonald, Omarion Robinson And Eric Winters all flashed occasionally in different settings last month. The same can be said of 2026 standouts Samari Matthew, Blaine Bradford, Jireh Edwards And Bralan Womack. Also in the 2026 class, Derrek Cooper And Keisean Hendersonboth listed as athletes, have shown unique skills that could eventually make them five-star talents.

WHAT TO DO WITH THE 2026 QUARTERBACK RANKINGS?

Outside Ryder LyonsThere is a growing “let’s start over” sentiment. The current quarterback rankings have Brady Smigiel sitting at no. 2 followed by Jared Curtis, Dia Bell, Brady Hart, Noah Grubbs, Jaden O’Neal, Landon Duckworth And Helaman Casuga all in the top 100 of the Rivals250.
The impressive display of Faizon Brandon has put him in a good spot for the rankings update. Bell and O’Neal also helped themselves with their performances last month. The up-and-down performances of Smigiel, Hart and Grubbs will generate a lot of discussion. Curtis remains a bit of a mystery after he failed to pitch at the Future 50. Troy Huhn And Jonas Williams were big climbers in the previous rankings update and that rise may continue.

WILL THERE BE A CHANGE IN THE 2026 OFFENSIVE LINE RANKINGS?
Five stars Jackson Cantwell possesses unique physical gifts that could easily make him a top offensive lineman in the 2026 draft. However, others have emerged as legitimate threats to replace him in the rankings.
Immanuel Iheanacho is only two years into his football career, but the athletic 6-foot-7, 340-pounder is already closer to college ready than any offensive lineman in this class. He’s also eager to test his skills against the best possible competition. The same can be said of five-star Keenyi Pepea veteran of the camp circuit.
Four stars Maxwell Riley, Pierre Dean And John Turntine have caused a lot of excitement this off-season, but the performances of Kevin Brown during his first national event last week in Jacksonville, Brown could well push them beyond the rankings.
Ekene Ogboko, Darius Gray, Carter Scruggs, Leo Delaney and many others will also move up the offensive line rankings.
