The 33-year-old “Goosebumps” rapper, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center around 4:30 a.m. on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing on property after warning.

Scott was arrested after police were called to the Miami Beach Marina early Thursday for a report of a disturbance on a yacht, according to an arrest affidavit from Miami Beach police. A person had called dispatch and said there were people fighting on the ship.

When officers arrived, they found Scott “standing at the dock yelling at the ship’s occupants.” Scott initially complied with police orders to sit down, but then ignored them. The complainant told police he didn’t want to make any changes and just wanted the rapper off the ship.

Officers could smell “a strong odor of alcohol coming from the suspect’s breath,” the affidavit said.

He eventually agreed to leave the dock after being threatened with arrest, but he did not leave quietly. During the walk to the boardwalk, “Scott walked backwards and yelled obscenities at the vessel’s occupants,” the affidavit said.

He left the marina but returned five minutes later and was seen by officers walking back to the ship.

Scott spoke to a sergeant he had previously spoken to and began yelling again, “becoming erratic” and “disturbing the peace of residents of the marina and nearby residential buildings, causing public unrest,” the affidavit said.

He was taken into custody at 1:17 a.m., the affidavit said. Scott later admitted to drinking alcohol, saying, “It’s Miami.”

Records show he has posted $650 bond and is expected to be released.

NBC News has contacted authorities for details about the circumstances of his arrest.
