Red Flag Fire Warning Wednesday, windy and still unseasonably warm. Dry Thursday through Friday with more seasonal temperatures

This warm and dry pattern continues on Wednesday! The warmth feels nice, but we could use some rain, because the dry conditions increase the risk of forest fire. A RED FLAG WARNING will be in effect on Wednesday, so outdoor burning is not permitted. Wednesday will be another summer day before a cold front pushes daytime high temperatures back into the more seasonal 50s and 60s for Thursday-Friday-Saturday and Sunday and yes, it will remain DRY!

We watch Oscar’s remains track far east of Connecticut. There could be another tropical system to watch out for in the first week of November!

This evening: Clear with some fog here and there. Lows in the 1950s. Look for the Orionid Meteor Showers and Mars near the Moon!!

Wednesday: Major fire hazard again. Lots of sun, fresh and warm. Highs around 80 inland. 70-75 along the coast.

Thursday: Early passing shower. Becoming bright, breezy and more seasonal with highs in the mid 60s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 50s.

Tuesday: Clear skies with highs in the low 60s.
