Reports of a large crowd gathering in the Exposition Park area on Saturday prompted a massive response from police officers.
According to Los Angeles Police, they were called to the scene, located near the Martin Luther King Jr., around 10:30 p.m. Park at 39th and Western Streets after receiving reports of a crowd fighting in the area.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, but when SkyCal arrived on scene, a large number of officers could be seen close to the crowd. Some appeared to be wearing riot gear.
It is unclear whether any arrests have been made.
