Rihanna has stepped out in Shanghai wearing a ferragamo from head to toe. She donned red patent pumps with a wedge heel – a new pair from the brand’s Fall 2024 collection – to match a custom viscose jersey dress from the luxury Italian brand.
Rihanna was in China to promote her hugely successful cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty. A pop-up for the company recently took place at a photography museum in the coastal city.
Rihanna’s dress, described by Ferragamo as responsibly sourced, was made from fitted stretchy material that caught the light as she posed. While the top half of the dress features a high neckline and long sleeves, the bottom half consists of long loops that fell below the singer’s knees. She completed the dramatic look with long red leather gloves that reached past her elbows and blended with her sleeves. Rihanna’s ensemble was styled by Mel Ottenberg.
Meanwhile, the unique red shoes feature a high wedge, which created a dramatic angled effect for the wearer. The design is made up of many sharp angles, including a pointed nose. The slim heels feature two thin ankle straps, which mirror the loops of the dress.
Rihanna is not only a billionaire entrepreneur and a top artist, but she is known around the world as an undisputed fashion icon. From her music videos that have been viewed more than a billion times to her signature maternity fashion sense, the musician mogul knows her way around a wardrobe.
Among her many pursuits, Rihanna has also entered the footwear industry after creating a collaboration between Fenty and Puma. She was recently spotted wearing the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty Earth Tone sneakers at a launch party in London for the same shoe.
